| People in that area don't have a clue how good they have it. Most of the ground is extemely deep black topsoil in large tracts of land in square fields with little to no timber. And yes, a lot of them would have been disappointed to have 200 bu. corn this year, 220-240 caught a lot of the field averages and some better than that. And there are a lot of landlords who don't have a clue because they inherited it all and don't know the business that think $150-175/acre is a good rent. Also a lot of family "deals" that are sub-market rents. Those are usually the guys that moan and groan the most.
