8K339 is the earlier version, 8T339 is the Newer VT event. It is most definitly not all the same. Check out the U of Ill. variety testing- 8K339 has the highest 2 year average of all hybrids tested in the Eastern and Western region. It was one of the top hybrids in the Northern region also.
