North Dakota | Sheep herder they are production type dorsets and a few polypays mixed in there also. I thought I might catch ya with the breed not many in ND. We run 400 ewes about 90% white,balance black face and crosses. I assume Keith shears for you. We start the second round Feb. 1, looks like about 120hd. They don't look as bellied up as the first round so hopefully they will be later and still drop well. Looking at your ewes does it look like you have a good drop coming? We dropped 174% in that Jan group out of 144 ewes, not bad for that early. We are about 55 miles NW of Jamestown. Check out my lambing crew! The little one is saying,"Oh no, not another one!" We had 79 ewes lamb in 3 days.
