North Mo.		No expert on tubing but we have done a fair amount especially last fall with small calves but we have used plastic tubes with a ball zero problem and most of the time the calf will be laying on his side. We do hold the head up of course. Once we had a calf that did not take a tube and a vet could not get it to take also and it was not premature. I have drowned some by not getting the tube down far enough, we normally take it as far as there is a tube. Ben
