| Today's thinking is; Buy what you can afford THIS week. Consumers have too many SUV payments, snowboard trips, improv classes to attend... and the days of buying bulk beef to save some coin takes a back seat to the local restaurant. How many meals are eaten outside of the home these days/week? (which opens another window to post..... where is the meat coming from that is supplied to them??) It's amazing what people will not give up...right up until bankruptcy court makes them.
Garvo did hit on a good little indicator though. Nice observation.
