Eastern Ohio | Thanks for posting that info, it sort of confirms what i was trying to communicate to the Ohio Cattlemen's rep at our last county meeting. They (Ohio Cattlemens Association) are on a county support tour for opinions on raising the checkoff dollar in our state. Told them we needed to increase domestic consumption before going abroad. Once consumers can't afford our protien the'll switch to something cheaper, but i don't want forign product comming in the back door either.
We (cattlemen) seem to be fighting more battles with extreamist, enviormental groups and washington than promoting our product. | |
