North Cental Mo. | Every time I think about building a building like Garvo's I think the same thing. And I would rather build another dirt lot for little coin and feed more cattle, vs building a barn to feed the same amount. If I recall (correct me if I am wrong) Garvo said it would never pay off in his generation, and I think he said he did not know if it increased gain on cattle. The do it yourself and save money sounds great, but personally I'd hate to ask and beg neighbors and friends to help with such an undertaking for some cold beer. Maybe if I was doing something equal for them, but for the most part they have better things to do than save me a buck. Especially if the one doing the building could afford to hire it done or hire help to do it. I'd rather spend the money on cattle.
