| Relax, at least you was able to get your calf. I've got a cow/calf pair that has been running wild in Utah at the 7,000' level since mid October. Myself and my cowboys, another ranches cowboys, etc. haven't been able to gather them up.
I've dealt with wild cattle, but never like this! No snow, so we can't starve them out, can't run and rope them in the high mountain country without hurting somebody. If I had snow I could get them. I gave the order for hunters to take them both out, they can't even get a good shot at them. About ready to hire a chopper and gunner to take them out so they don't turn more cattle wild with them. I guess someday we will get a good shot at them, where are the poachers when you need them? | |
