SC, MN.
My boys & I farrow a few sows for there 4-H show pigs. The crates are on the floor & we bed w/ straw. I would like to grind the straw so it would absorb like shavings & cleaning could be done w/ a shovel. What size of screen would work best in the hammer mill? I don't want it to fine, just ground enough to be able to get it in & out w/ scoop shovel.
What size screen to grind straw?????
