If you set the poles on top of the curb, you will need to pour it down below frost line or it may heave. We set the poles first and then filled between with concrete. Mine are 18" high from the animal side and only 4" rise on feed side. 32" wide inside or they can not reach the far corners. We poured the outside wall also because didn't want to deal with broken boards down the road. Hung a neck rail on the inside of post at 42" from floor which may be a little high when cattle are small when crowding them and have had a few pushed into the bunks.(not fun to get them out) Also lined the bottom with plastic for ease of cleaning and smoothness. Do not tie the plastic at the ends or it will buckle and crack with temp changes. (expands in summer and shrinks in winter)
