| You can bypass the Mormon 500 on Sunday if you go though from I-15 at Malad,Id. or Tremonton, Ut. and get on state road 30 down to I-80 at Wendover. Then down 93 on the east side of Nevada though Ely, etc. all the way to Las Vegas. Can stop on the way and visit the http://www.nps.gov/grba/planyourvisit/lehman-caves-tours.htm#CP_JUM... Lehman caves outside of Baker.
I would travel that way to beat scales when hauling cattle out of California. I-15 from Ogden, Ut. to Cedar City, Ut. can be a bear sometimes.
