Picture below is what I mean by ripper roto tiller. Frost goes down to 3-4 feet almost every winter. I actually think that by roto tilling and putting air pockets in there, that the frost will be shallower than if you do nothing. Conductivity. How'd you make out with your Howard rotovators?
