Faunsdale, AL | Not sure what brand they are. They are the sewn cell ones filled with crumbs of rubber. Covered with a fuzzy fabric cover.
Was very happy with them until our source of cheap shavings/kiln dried sawdust dried up as a result of the economic downturn in housing starts as well as a pellet mill which opened up to ship wood fuel pellets to europe. The pellet mill failed after a short while, leaving a lot of disgruntled suppliers and haulers unpaid, but the price has not come back down, probably because there is just not as much hardwood flooring moving as there was before.
Now, I'm considering retrofitting to sand by removing the mattresses and adding a 4x4 or landscaping timber to the curb. These stall platforms have a thin concrete base under the mattresses which could be removed if required, but I have heard of folks just adding the 4x4's by driving rebar through them into holes drilled into the curb.
