Subject: RE: Is there enough

east of indianapolis
Well I'm 39 and my wife is 38 and we got a late start at most everything. Married at 30, first kid at 35 secound at 38. Both of us worked fulltime jobs, had about 15 cows as a hobby and worked our way up to about 450 acres of patches until 3 years ago. Have worked my short life trying to farm fulltime and I do mean worked our tails off. 3 years ago my dad decided to retire and was abile to rent his land and some of his rented land of which is 30 miles from my operation to say I'm a fulltime farmer. Love my choices but not easy at all. We farm 1500 acres and have worked our way to 30 cows and trust me plenty for one person and my wife still works and as she says raises our kids since I'm always working. Sometimes miss the life of little worries and just get up be at work at 8 and go home at 5 and jack around but love the mess I'm in now.
