Macon, MO | I'm 36 and we got back into cows again, had always had feeders. We aren't running a big herd but are limited on pasture, a large herd will be hard to graze during the summer and have enough hay to feed in the winter without renting some pasture and buying hay and I don't want to have to depend on someone elses land or hay. ( I know Ben you shouldn't have to feed hay) I really enjoy getting up and checking on the girls everyday, nothing is better than a fresh morning with a bunch of cows and calves as long as everybody is healthy. | |
