thanks for the advice. Lots of good ideas. We don't use a vac. I can see where the vac would do alot of damage. Last years crop was 8-10% moisture by the time we started harvesting them so storage was a non-issue besides the snow that blew in the top of the bin. That caused a little bit of grief! We're growing oils because we're on the edge of sunflower growing area. We're marginal for heat units and so the oils seem to mature a little faster than the confects. Have you harvested your sunflowers yet this year? I'm hearing some good yields this year.
