Martinsville, Ohio | Excellent points, thanks for the compliment price buyers. Many German Dutch farm Ohio and they can squeeze a nickel. If you use rotations to their advantage the traits just don't pay here, at least they haven't yet. Will the eastern farmer be forced into traits because the mainland wants them? I have an experiment going on with continuous notill corn and so far the less expensive nontrait corn still beats the trait corn. I had 30 hybrids in one field.
Much more interest now in non GMO soybeans as RR soys are getting hard to control with gallons of roundup. The river market non GMO premium is working strongly here.
I just looked at that chart and said, wow, just what I see, look right down to Ohio and little adoption.
