I don't know about up there, but here in NE AR, not only do you leave yourself open for disease and nematodes, but we have problems in some places with Dectes stem borer. No thresh hold, no real treatment (I think there are some demos out with some seed treatments, but haven't seen anything in print yet). They like year after year soybeans. We've also got nematode issues too... They love them some sandy ground!
