Northwest iowa | If you want to buy one, lots of feedlots are using Houle manure pumps. They work great but are a little spendy. I bought my pump from a welding shop for around $1800 and had to supply an electric motor for it. If I ever need another one I will build it myself, I don't think you could get $500 into materials. They are really very simple to build if you can weld and cut steel. There isn't much for precision in the one I use. | |
