NE IA | Salt around it or I use an axe to chop a u trough in the ice enabling the cattle to get their feet in the groove and drink without slipping. I can't really say one brand is any worse than another for this ,seems all mine require chopping ice away to improve access . the more cattle the more you chop. On second thought the old large volume water tanks didn't seem to make ice but that was a long time ago so maybe I just forgot | |
