Yes, it is important to count seeds/lb. Never figured out why we are still seeding by the pound instead of 1.5 million live seed/acre. If you want to feel real good about it, go for 2 million, then the maxi bag will plant 13.5 acres if it contains 13,500 seeds/lb. If it has 11,000 seeds/lb. same bag of wheat will plant 11 acres. Good wheat is thick, makes no matter if its no till or not. Matter of fact, two discings in corn stalks leave a worse mess for a drill than direct seeding.
