Subject: No-till wheat seeding rates

Why is it recommended to increase seeding rates if you're no-tilling wheat? If you have your drill adjusted right and good moisture you should get just as good a stand if not better than the tilled guy's field.
I see a lot of seeds/acre talk on some of these forums and not lbs/acre. Is there a lab somewhere that will count the number of seeds in 1 lb of wheat. I know seed size makes a difference in milo and beans but never really thought about that and wheat.
