If you have room to put a single 6 you must have the length there. Why not put a double 6 in right away? If you put a double 4 it may work well now but if you expand in the future will it be big enough? I try to look ahead and do things right the first time so I don't have to go back later. With that said, I sure am jealous of all you guys with herringbones lol. I'm still using a double 4 side exit. It is a lot of walking and not very fast. The one advantage over a herringbone is that slow milkers don't slow the process down a whole lot.
