Instead of feeder pigs, what about filling the lot with cull sows and putting weight back on them, then selling the sows? You might even get a few litters of pigs, but you would have to watch them because you wouldn't want them to have pigs outside unless you had some sort of shelter for them. I know a guy who put a bunch of cull sows in his woods one fall, fed them shelled corn and supplement on the ground, and in the spring he made a killing selling fat sows and quite a few feeder pigs as well!
