Subject: Re: genomics

Now in the day with "genomics" there is no such thing as young sires. The genetic industry refers to them simply as Genomic sire. Like i have stated before with a group of 5 genomic bulls the reliability is going to be 90% reliable. The group of genomic bulls that were the first group in 09' now have daughter proven proofs with a very slight decline from the genomic proof. Why wait for 5 years to get the proven bulls genetics when you can have a genomic bull at 1 yr of age and add another tool to the toolbox to making your dairy profitable?
