| I sincerely hope you are not defending price fixing, an illegal activity that in this case would bring harm to all farmers. Your response reads to me that if they are in fact price fixing you do not care because you like their products. Is that what you are saying?
Your argument "Quit buying there traits no matter the loss on your farm" really sums the situation up, these traits have created a paradigm shift, and to not use these traits does put a farmer at a competitive disadvantage. So we as farmers now lack the market power to right this potential wrong. We must rely on the law to insure competition. The market power of a single farmer means nothing.
BTW naygro, I get the impression you have taken a few Lear rides to St. Louis. Please try and see past that, remain true to yourself and your community do this by keeping an open mind, always ask yourself, why are they doing this for me? The answer is they are not doing it for you. | |
