NC Kansas | If it were me, I think I'd call the relative and ask what they were trying to accomplish with the information. Explain that if you know what they're trying to do, you can possibly deliver a more complete picture and better fulfill their information needs. Yep, it's just a diplomatic way of figuring out how they're going to jack you around. It sounds like they're going to try to talk you into a flex lease like Successful Farming has been touting for some time. It's true that they have no right to any information past the fact that the rent check is good. However, they own the ground and could rent it to someone who is willing to submit to more control. | |
