west Tennessee | ok guys.. we have had the worst drought ever here in west Tn.
untill the last two weeks we had about 1.6 inches of rain since planting
situation # 1
APPLIED A 170-60-80 on corn ...... yielded 90 bushels ( do I need to apply more fertilizer to follow with a wheat crop? N P or K)
situation # 2
APPLIED a 0- 30-60 on soybeans...... many we will not harvest,, some will go 15 bushels..... ( do I need to apply additional p and k for wheat. or need more Fall N behind a legume?)
situation 3
APPLIED a 110-35 -120 on COTTON....ussually yields 1000 lbs.... now about 550-650 lbs.. the N was applied as UAN knifed in in mid june..... im sure alot of it is still there..... so can a raise a 70+ bushel wheat crop without having to apply a huge amount of fall fertilizer?
I know these are general questions... guess Im just looking for opinions...... Dave | |
