Rolla, ND | It's a contrasting class, generally, elevators here would care much if you had spring wheat in your winter wheat. They would just make sure to put it in the bin of winter wheat they are dribbling into the spring wheat anyway.
Millers don't care that much about blending hard wheat with hard wheat. It's that soft wheat that New Orleans always blended with the hard wheat that drives the millers I've met crazy. You can mill hard wheat or you can mill soft wheat, but it's a real mess when you try to mill a mix. For some reason, millers complain they can't get wheat from that Texas-Louisiana area without getting a blend. Solution they have is to buy from Canada where that problem doesn't occur.
