My elevator split weighs all the time for B trains. Did someone miss an axle, it is easy to have happen. Make sure when they weight to list the axles numbered from front to back on each part of the split. Also depending on the aproaches the postition on scale could be a part. Is the scale long enough to dolly down and unhook and just weigh trailer? It slows things down but if you are out that much it may be worth it. Or it may convince elevator to buy longer scale.
