USA | Never had a problem with Canopy EX. Only run 1/2 oz per acre. It will do a good job of holding till around the middle of May. From what I have seen, 1/2 oz will hold as good as 1 oz per acre and will save you about $2.25 per acre.
If you are afraid of the Express a couple other options are a 1/2 oz Sycrony or 1 oz of Canopy ( Classic- Sencor) . This will give you about the same amount of Classic as the 1/2 oz of Canopy EX. This low rate of Classic will do a good job of keeping the field clean and the low rate of Classic applied in the fall should not be a problem on your 7 ph soil.
