| We're just outside KC and the Renaisance Festival folks come out and cut off a whole truckload of corn every year for their decoration. Really P*** me off. All these wonder liberals who think they are better than everyone else.
We've always got people coming out and shooting fireworks and leaving all their trash in the road.
Used to have one guy who would pick a whole pickup load of "sweet corn" out of our field corn patch and take to the local sale barn every year. Friends told us, but we were never able to catch him.
It really burns me when people throw out trash. Just this wknd I was sitting in the truck waiting for Teresa to pick up something in a store, car pulled in beside me and a woman got out with her smoke hanging from her lips like you used to see in a movie, took a long drag and threw it on the ground as she started to walk into the store. I hollered out the window that it wasn't nice to litter and that in this town we don't throw our trash on the ground like that. If looks could of killed I would be dead. Got out and put what was left of it under the windshild wiper so they would at least take it with them when they left. When she came out she would not even look at me as she got in the car and left. | |
