I've had to quit putting a few pounds of turnip seed in the new alfalfa patches because the "neighbors" (some I've never even heard of!) stomp paths through the new hay. Those paths last the entire lifetime of the stand. It's a little tough to be gracious when you have to look at it for 5+ years!
