Very nice, looks like a friends farm in upstate NY but I see you are in North Dakota. Your soil is the same color with similar rock pattern, too.
That herky jerky feeding action looks disconcerning but you must be used to it because it works.
I could sit and watch corn going into the cornhead till I get dizzy.
I assume those are contracted grown? How do they base their price structure and how does that compare to other crops?

No they are not contracted acres...but the bean companies do offer contracts and we did contract some at $19. The beans are sold on cwt with current pricing at $23. Yield so far this year has been 23.5 cwt/acre. |
