Subject: RE: Stock trailer center gates

Driftless SW Wisconsin

I am reminded of pulling into a local sale barn yard and at the next dock they were trying to get a large cow out of a brand new shiney long aluminum trailer. The owner had not closed the center gate, the one animal in the trailer had slipped and apparently broken a leg after a ride on the winding roads.

It made you sick to see a beautiful big animal that someone had probably spent two years or more developing with a broken leg from its last trailer ride.

Closing the trailer center gates seems like it might have prevented this.
