Back in 2004 I sold heifers really cheap, was basically cull cow beef price. Needed the room, had enough milk. I've heard prices are better since, $2500 is certainly decent, it hasn't gotten that high around here. I hope the border being open pulls some demand off the quota exchange, it seems to be heading back up in price again.
