I think you're really close on your 50-60% yield reduction estimate. I was hoping for 750 lbs, but after I knocked the leaves off, I think that's overly optimistic. One thing that gives me a little hope, I've never been as suprised with anything as I was our corn crop. Maybe cotton will do the same. Our bean yields will be all over the board. We've got a few acres that might be pretty decent, caught a really narrow band of rain 2 or 3 weeks ago. After years of our IV's outyielding our V's, I haven't planted any V's the last two years. Worked out fine last year, but this year we have very few acres that this last rain helped at all.

Can't answer your question about media coverage. I wouldn't want to be interviewed anyway. Would just be perceived as a "whiner".Cry
