Southeast Wyoming

Jim, I don't have a label here to know if we use Dividend Extreme or Dividend ??? but we have used a Dividend product for a couple of years; before that we used a VitaVax (spelling ????) product which became unavailable.  We use it for smut control and have been satisfied.  Last season we had a visit from a neighbor who also farms about 80 miles to the north; they wanted to know what product we used, rates and etc.  They had a lot of trouble finding a market for their smutty wheat.

This summer our area had serious smut problems; we did not.  A large % of acres of organic wheat in the section neighboring mine was not harvested for grain due to smut but is just now being windrowed and baled, probably for cow "hay".  I believe they have given up their organic certificate and will take advantage to the controls available.

I don't recall the cost/acre but with those odds, Dividend certainly pays it's way here.
