| You are right about the temp at ground level. Here corn and beans freeze from the top down. Tuesday morning's 31 degree temp at eye level froze corn leaves that were 7 feet above the ground. Last night's freeze then takes more leaves so there may not be many live ones left. Two freezes back to back are bad because the first one ruins part of the canopy so that leaves the lower part of the plant more vulnerable. Jim J | |
