Soil testing pays ... We test every fall late. has saved us a ton of money. I do my own calculations based on Grant Jackson's input needs studies. The Fertilize co. always recommends way to much of every thing :<( We grow primarilary malt barley . wheat has too much N demand for the magic 14% proteen levels .
