| Ron,
Sprayed it myself with the Hagie, what fun as the pollen was just starting to fly. A little gust of wind and drift covered the windshield and then I'd hit some shedding tassels. Wow. Used 15 GPA.
Sorry the thing was hard to read, I copied an excel sheet and just pasted, didn't have much luck editing.
I'm sure there was some drift on the dividing row, I sprayed in 180' (72 row) blocks, harvested the breaks for this with an 8 row. Hoping to get better analysis from the yield maps, should take out that skew of overlap.
My take? Probably a wash at best. This hybrid has had some major leaf, stalk & root disease challenges the past 2 years "here". I really think if it was going to pay off this should be one that would show it. Still, it's only 4 checks, I'll have a bunch more by the time I'm done, along with thousands from the rest of you guys.
Call me a sceptic; but, I think we were sold a bill of goods on this Headline thing. Time will tell. | |
