NE Mo | I do think on this farm it could have been a day drier when we were tilling this spring. But I am observing shallow roots not only on this farm but others as well, and even at the progress show. It just seems to me this is more than just this area, management etc. I have dug root pits other years, but have not dug any this year. It is a good way to find out what is going on under the surface, I agree. Still, with the dry weather we had this spring and summer, ylds are better than any one here expected. | |
