Lee Co | Here in northern Illinois it was 29 degrees at 5:30 this AM. everything is white. many beanfields are just turning, corn is still all 20-30%+ only 2-3 guys have actually started corn. the only good thing is the late weeds that came after the 6" rain shoud die to make cutting beans a little less troublesome. I remember about August 1 hearing crickets and thinking I rememberd that ~40 days after hearing crickets start will be the first frost. guess thats about right.
