Mark, if I did your numbers right, I see the following averages: Control = 202.8 @ 16.5% HL = 210.0 @ 17.3% Not sure what to figure for corn...$3.50? If so-that would be a wash I'd guess? BUT-when I was thinking about strip trials, I wondered how one keeps "overlap" effect/drift from the fungicide strips from not affecting the control rows? It's a little hard to read, but looks like your plots were 8 rows? I'm assuming they sprayed 8, then not sprayed 8 (maybe had boom sections shut off?). At any rate, I'm suggesting the spray nozzles nearest the UNTREATED rows may have also added a positive yield effect to even your control rows. Is that not possible? Meaning that Control rows should have even less bu/a. I could be all wrong. I'm sure I'll find out shortly here. |
