Seneca Kansas 66538 | Snerdly same experience here in NEKS, its crazy this stuff wont dry down for some reason. After last weeks heavy rains and flooding we decided yesterday to start taking it out. Picked 8,000 bushels yesterday and dumped it in a bin with 4 stirators and turned the fan on. We had over 200 acres under water and getting gunshy about what the next weather event is going to bring so we decided to start picking it. We are going to the bins at 18 or higher. We havent picked much of the flood corn but what we have its an absolute mess. Its sad such a good price and this had to happen, thankfullly none of the tornadoes dropped down and did any damage to speak of.
