I really like that statement although sometimes you need to be able to rope a calf to doctor it etc. Thanks for your explanation of your extremely dandy corral. I really like this setup but I don't think it would work for someone that like tub-style corrals. Hopefully I can build one similar to it someday. I am just starting to work on low-stress handling and I have noticed how much easier it is. We have a Powder River tub and alley and I have noticed that if you fill it more than what the alley can hold (once the alley is empty) it is extremely hard to get the cattle to flow because you have to force them thus not using stockmanship. Thanks dlerwick for sharing your views.
