Eastern Iowa | Jim, I like the concept of the curvetine closers but am wondering how necessary you think they are when planting into a nice bare strip. Some of our strips are made in the fall and others in the spring. With a clean, mellow, dry strip to plant into in the spring, do you feel that there is as much of an advantage to using the curvetines over standard closers as there would be for someone who conventionally tills or no-tills?
