Murfreesboro, Tennessee | We just started to defoliate and same with us. Matter of fact, I may not even defoliate the DPL due to there being nothing there. The DPL 117 flex variety looks terrible. We too had the heat and dry weather. All cotton looked good as of the 1st of August, but August was just brutal on the crop. My Stoneville looks significantly better than the DPL 117. We estimated 350 lbs on the DPL 117, when we were thinking 1200 August 1. The Stoneville definitely handled the heat better. | |
