Then get pH corrected. Make sure all crop nutrients are in balance. Good genetices will not overcome poor fertility management. pH, Cal level in your soil, balanced elements all provide a pathway to a healthier plant, which equals standability. After this then spend effort at getting the right genetics for your farm.
