Usually try to set them at 30, 60. I would check the gauge and the pressure switch. Once thought our pressure was to high. Had one of those fiberglass tanks.. it blew on day. Here the rust had built up over the years and plugged the gauge and pressure switch tee. Not sure how much pressure it was making . it was a screw pump so it was high. One way to tell is if it also is slow to kick on.
